Forgive me if this is dumb, but did you max out the brightness with the home button? The switch screen probably isn't great in full sun, even at max brightness, but in the car it should be ok.

Yeah...similar to Apple. The deals are there, but never from the two manufacturers. Plus, the Switch Lite is the perfect upgrade to 3DS at 180. I wish it had the new battery, though.
