I agree. Often agoda or something has a better price. Hotels.com had a price match guarantee, but they don’t always honor it in my experience.

considering hotels.com hiked up prices all the time, it's not worth it to lockin to a single website.just search in google hotels & pick the cheapest site for the hotel you decided to buy.

What do you mean? Capital one card has hotels.com? Can you not combine? What card is this? Also hotels.com seems consistently more expensive than priceline.

By far the worst priced 3rd party booking service. I have no idea how people ever book with them. There's not a single property there that isn't overpriced by a good amount.

I’ve tried to unsubscribe multiple times to their annoying spam emails and they just keep coming. I’d avoid doing business with them/ giving them your information.

I bought 40 last time this came up. Arrived about 5 days later via UPS. Called hotels.com and combined them into two cards of $2000 each (limit allowed). No problem at all.
