No, it's not. And the V2 was 1/2 off during their normal post CES 24 hr sale for $35. So, this is an alright deal but not great considering just a couple weeks ago you could get V2 for $10 more.

I have had my Deathadder over a year with heavy use. I can report that the condition is perfect. As far as connection issues never had em. I don't use Razer software.

Really glad I got Razer mice when they first came out and were more reliable. My Microsoft Habu (the original MS/Razer partnership that became Deathadder) and Diamondback are still working fine...

Yeah, originally I was all in on Razer... then maybe 2 mice in a row were bad. Switched to Logitech and have had better luck, albeit not perfect as one had a right clicking issue.
