FWIW Almost every instant hot cocoa mix has sucralose or artificial sweetener in it. The exceptions I’ve noticed are the ones that you have to add milk to (which kind of makes them not so instant)...

it's an alternative sweetener derived from sucrose (table sugar). Like most alternative sweeteners, it can be hit-or-miss if you taste it during or after or whether it's an acceptable taste.
