It’s bad but not bad enough for me to return it. It does turn itself on/off about once a month, you can see blooming at dark scenes, the color was okay, to summarize it, you get what you paid for :p

Those aren’t exactly the same TVs, are they? I’m pretty sure there’s a difference between the M series and the M 8 and I believe the M was better rated than the M 8

No they're the same. M8 is the top of the line M series. M6 and M7 are less bright with fewer dining zones

Had one of these and returned to Costco. Sowtware was horribly buggy. Tv would also turn on and off by itself. Replaced with TCL 6 series and couldn't be happier.
