I mean even if it isn't fixed yet there is no reason to tell people not to buy these gift cards just for that reason alone. Just don't apply the gift card until the issue is resolved.

My account was disabled yesterday. I had 150 gift card purchased directly from amazon. Uber asked me to send over the full gift card number and restored my account. Totally ridiculous.
