You have to double check the rating. USB-C cords can data transfer at different speeds and can charge at different speeds. (This is on top of having to check what charger you're using) Reviews and...

True. Hoped USB-C would simplify the USB cable decision process but it seems to be more complex than ever. Shopping for the perfect android auto cable yesterday turned into a five hour rabbit hole...

they're nice for convenience in casual use, but anything over 3' does occassionally cause problems in android auto at least.

But do they have "100% pure Perfect Surface Silver solid-core conductors??" Cuz that's super necessary. Or "wave solder" soldering process at each end terminal? Don't know what it is but I want it.
Does anyone know if USB-C to USB-C cable is good enough to charge my MBP Pro 13?

I wish I knew some c to c and c to a cables that will charge at 25watt/27watt for my note 10+. Whatever it is. I don't care about the 45 watt charging.

I have a Note 9. The scenario I'm describing is an Aukey 18w PD USB C fast charger using a Monoprice USB C to Micro USB 6ft cable and a Micro USB to USB C generic converter. I've looked at...

Is there a device around to easily (and inexpensively) test cables and wall chargers for compatibility? I don't really care about data rate but charging speed. I've got a house full of cables and...

Yeah for digital signals there is no benefit to the signal "quality" other than if the cable doesn't work in the first place or can't hold a steady signal. If you are talking analog cables then yea...

To further complex the matter, sometimes you'll notice the top notch cables will actually work worse with certain devices, generally cheaper lower end devices. Reason being if the device you're...

Was mistaken, the .75m type c to a cable I considered was $150, not $140, and I didn't even see the next model up, their Diamond series model, avaiable now for only $450 extra. Quality RCA cables do...

I have a bunch of these. Good quality cables but do not support QC 3.0. Personally I prefer a slower charge since it's better according to Battery University and these are great for that.
