I have the samsung version of this 49” in 1080. It’s not retina display crisp as in I can see the pixels, but if you sit back 2-3 feet away it’s not that noticeable.

Should be fine. It’s essentially 2 27 inch 1080p monitors without the bezel. Personally, I feel like 27 inch with 1440p is the sweet spot but 1080p should work totally fine.
