Yep, I've bought Deluxe + State for the past five years or so. You get up to (5) Federal e-files for free, but it would cost me $20 to e-file my state (MO) return. I just print my state returns...

I'm not sure, but you should be able to save the prior year file to your computer from either system, and then import it into the new year.
