The top are similar design but the feet is where they differ. Menard's model does not have the pivoting feet pad where as Home Depot does. It might be minor thing but if you use this in soft soil...

I bought the adjustable height version a few years ago. I love them. The pivoting feet make it incredibly easy to get them on stable footing, even in my garage with it’s cracked and heaved floor....
