Apparently the flexible version has had some issues with the cable “exploding” during use, resulting in lacerated hands. Definitely some user errors in those, but be mindful of what your intended use...

I had the Ryobi version of this and it literally disintegrated on the first use. I'm in for one of these, it looks way better than the Ryobi.
