If you have to ask, Ryobi is probably fine for you. Rigid is considered a tougher and arguably pro-quality brand, though the Ryobi One line has the advantage of having many more compatible tools...

Yes. You would just want to order the batteries for store pickup and the tool for delivery. Immediately cancel the tool part of the order after placing it.
