I haven't had a problem, but others have reported that they haven't been able to do it, so YMMV.

Not sure how long this brushless deal will last but hope this helps someone. Since November 25th I’ve placed 21 orders with the battery kit. I returned all but 2 of the 3ah battery kits. The sure...

Not quite dead. All items are still active but the price for the impact increased $20.

Thanks, good info on this. I just had one denied that my dad used his military discount on. The rebate rep looked into it and said to see their terms about eligible items. The rebate site is sort...

Any opinions on the cut off tool?

I know the P238 used to be priced at $99 and was often on sale for $79. I suspect HD finally saw it was at the sale price along with the free P166 kit promo, and they decided to fix it by reverting...

That does not mean if an item is on sale you can’t get the rebate. Never had one denied and if it’s not on sale I don’t buy it. I think they might be referring to the military discount and any...

Decent because you get the batteries free but I bought the same thing for $99 plus tax last week.

My last one was denied when I used a 15% movers coupon. Was hoping it was just because I returned several items before it was processed. This used to be the best, could stack a movers coupon on a...

Thanks! I didn't have a brushless impact yet.

Home Depot does track serial returners nationwide. So even if you do buy something, if you’re on the list, the store is supposed to refuse your return.

only the circular saw left that didn't take long missed the jig saw twice in a few days now

Saw shows $119 for me for the brushless circular saw. Am I doing it wrong or is the deal dead?

Nice savings there
Post #134736671 added 02-04-2020 12:49 PM by jmhinkle in Deal Talk
I find it hilarious people think it's a scam and try to sell the battery kits instead of return them. Home depot doesn't mind at all nor do they care. The only list they put you on is the email...

If you have to ask, Ryobi is probably fine for you. Rigid is considered a tougher and arguably pro-quality brand, though the Ryobi One line has the advantage of having many more compatible tools...

This wasn’t the case in the Bay Area when I tried to return them separate. Got denied doing it separate. Edit this was for the jigsaw and battery last deal $99

Want the deal but not the battery? Ship the battery to another home depot while ship the tool to your local home depot. Pick up the tool and cancel the battery pick up and you’ll be refunded for...

sorry got to rethink
Post #134748380 added 02-05-2020 2:18 AM by zapjb in Deal Talk
I think your supposition "the majority of the cutting and other accessories say they use a 7/8" arbor" is incorrect. So there isn't an issue.
Post #134748383 added 02-05-2020 2:20 AM by Thorguard in Deal Talk
How is that incorrect? It says it right in their descriptions and images, arbor size 7/8. If you search cut off discs, grinding discs etc like 9 out of 10 use 7/8. Luckily it does seem to be a...

This is literally the first question on Home Depot and has your answer. A 4.5 inch disk is going to work period. "As others have indicated, this like just about every other 4.5" angle grinder has...

Post #134757440 added 02-05-2020 11:42 AM by cccheel in Deal Talk
I actually need a circular saw. Is this a decent deal for the saw, batteries, and bag for abouyt $128 after tax?
Post #134758751 added 02-05-2020 12:39 PM by zepaco in Deal Talk
This good for DIY mechanic work? Engine swaps, changing axles, etc.
Post #134735822 added 02-04-2020 12:14 PM by kennyking in Deal Talk
That deal lasted for less than a day. You're thinking of the 2 battery + 1 tool deal, which was still decent, but not as good as the two tool deal.
Post #134738282 added 02-04-2020 2:02 PM by wagsgt in Deal Talk
Does everyone already have ryobi batteries? I don’t own any so is this good if keeping batteries?
Post #134741903 added 02-04-2020 5:14 PM by siggydawg in Deal Talk
Yes. You would just want to order the batteries for store pickup and the tool for delivery. Immediately cancel the tool part of the order after placing it.
Post #134742998 added 02-04-2020 6:11 PM by coopscoop in Deal Talk
I had the p239, but sold it and kept p238. In addition to what you mentioned, the tri lights are really useful. For this price ($35), I would get the p238 and sell your p239. You can probably make it...

best deal in last few months was the factory blemished one at direct tool outlet.. I think it was like $55-65 maybe? Tool only, but still best price for one with full warranty.

This brushless circular saw from Ryobi out powers my Ridgid octane brushless model. It doesn't bog down like the Ridgid. I really don't understand why a homeowner's grade saw outperforms a lower end...
