This wasn’t the case in the Bay Area when I tried to return them separate. Got denied doing it separate. Edit this was for the jigsaw and battery last deal $99

I think your supposition "the majority of the cutting and other accessories say they use a 7/8" arbor" is incorrect. So there isn't an issue.

The 3-speed impact driver is great, but the best value is the Brushless recip or jig saw since they're normally $129

Still have them in S. Plainfield. I don't have any use for the impact driver otherwise I would bite just for the batteries for the recent vacuum purchase.

For anyone interested I dug up this answer for this ryobi grinder on amazon: Question: What size is the arbor? Answer: The arbor is a threaded 5/8 11UNC arbor, but it uses step washers to fit 7/8...

There was either something wrong with the tool or the battery was weak/discharged. I've had every version of their 1/2 impact and none of them ever had a issue tighten to or loosening 100ft lbs. ...

Oh I see thanks. Just got the p238 for $38 outdoor for pickup even though I am not sure what the diff is between this and a hammer drill (good for drilling masonry, woods, metal). But impact driver?...

That deal lasted for less than a day. You're thinking of the 2 battery + 1 tool deal, which was still decent, but not as good as the two tool deal.

Does everyone already have ryobi batteries? I don’t own any so is this good if keeping batteries?
Post #134739608 added 02-04-2020 3:14 PM by Dre325 in Deal Talk
Right., that’s what I figured out. That wasn’t clear from the original post. Doesn’t help that the main picture is the circ saw.

I am lucky to have a factory direct tool 30 minutes from my house. That being said when they had the 2x 3ah and 2x4 ah batteries for 100 total even factory direct couldn't touch that

@glee217 As you said hammer drill is for drilling, while impact driver is for driving screws/bolts/nuts. A simple google search should give you more details.

It is 79 for the brushless impact driver. Each tool is priced differently, but regardless you pay full price. The battery kit and tools are all prorated differently in this case.

Yes, you can put them down on a concrete wall. If you want to drill into it though you'll need a hammer drill, like a Bosch Bulldog

That one lasted nearly 3 months. You can still get the 2 batteries starter kit for $99.

I never had that issue. But I only had to do it once. I think most people just shipped batteries to home, and set tool to store pickup, and then cancelled the batteries right after ordering.

How does this Ryobi impact driver deal compare woth the Makita 2-speed brushless model at Amazon going for $99 w/ a 3-Ah battery? Thanks
Post #134742500 added 02-04-2020 5:41 PM by dyer_maker in Deal Talk
This method likely results in the best price you'll get for the batteries going forward. With the band saw, the prior deal was about a dollar cheaper for the batteries.
