But they're usually pretty easy to flip for $60 bucks or so.

Not related but is there some sort of warranty fraud going on with this tool? That or people are stealing them. I see plenty “brand new, open box, tool only” on Facebook marketplace/offer...

That makes me feel better. I happily paid $110 for my brand new 1/2” stubby impact and it’s great :D

I love this impact. Just did the whole front suspension on an 2008 car no problems. Lugs, control arms, struts, tie rods. It’s so light and small to get in tough spaces. I have a large pneumatic but...

My thoughts too. I thought I had a dud so exchanged two of them. My old Dewalt brushed 3/8 impact is far stronger. I way overpaid for that Milwaukee. Maybe BOLTR or one of the others will do an...

The 3/8 version has the same torque specs as this one. Does this one have any advantages over the 3/8” or is it just preference?
Post #134814659 added 02-08-2020 6:38 AM by patrickoneal in Deal Talk
The anvil on the 1/2" version has more mass, so it should hit harder than the 3/8". I own and use both the 3/8" and the 1/2". The 3/8" version with 3/8" stubby sockets will get into tighter places...

If the 'free 6ah battery' (nothing is free as they say but whatever) is a separate packaged item that you grab and add to the kit at purchase time which then gets zeroed out you can return it...

I agree. I bought the 3/8" fuel M18 and that has to be the biggest overates pos tool I have ever purchased. It won't break away at 75lb/ft much less what they rate it at. No way this impact will do...

Was also wondering how this works. I read that online orders may not have individual return values. I would be interested in keeping the stubby but returning everything else.

Thought this was only 2.0 and 6.0. This comes with a 2.0, 4.0 and 6.0.

I hope this serves some purpose for some as these are rarely on sale-ish. I wish I had stumbled upon this before changing the front & rear suspension on my Mustang over the past few weeks as my...

You really can't go wrong with either, but if you already have a good 1/2" impact and want something to get into tight places, the 3/8" stubby would probably be my choice.

Completely different tools. The M18 compact brushless impact driver (I assume you mean 2850-21) is 133ftlbs and really meant for driving fasteners although you can use it with an adapter for impact...

I have this one but in 3/8, absolutely love it. Even had the thump to break head bolts loose, lug nuts are cake, and it is small and light enough to not be tedious.

I assume it's flippers who buy a set at discount, then break it up and sell the individual parts.
Post #134753324 added 02-05-2020 8:47 AM by DVDxR in Deal Talk
It's going to be a single SKU so you can't return the battery separately.

I bought the 1/2" stubby impact last year and highly recommend it! The hype is real. It's compact size has come in handy so many times. I recently replaced 4 struts with it and the job was easy. They...

Ha, funny I've been eyeing this for my garage. The free 6.0 battery is worth $65. This is a great deal, however CPO Outlets has (1/2) for $20 less: ...

If your talking about the compact M18 Impact Wrench yeah that thing is crap for car/truck work. I don't think it was designed for that use. Use to see alot of Sprinkler Fitters using it and I bought...

I thought this was a good review showing the M12 Stubby and the M18 Mid-torque in a lot of real-world situations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6GWsLIsnn8 here's another one: ...

Ok this is helpful. I ordered the M18 1/2” non fuel impact from last week so I’m guessing adding a 3/8” on the M12 platform makes the most sense in my situation? Assuming I’ll have sockets for both.
Post #134813801 added 02-08-2020 4:48 AM by RyanR8838 in Deal Talk
I'm sure others will chime in but for my home DIY/Car Hobby I'd take the 1/2 since I already have a 1/2 impact socket set and can use a reducer to 3/8 if necessary. I guess you would take the...

I also have 1/2" pneumatic impact. Well, it is an used Snap-on:lol::lol: Just ordered 3/8". I like the torque and compact size.

Can you return the stubby on this package? How much do you get back? Looks like it is a single sku and you cant.
Post #134832602 added 02-09-2020 7:48 AM by EKoz2020 in Deal Talk
Yeah, I never returned these deals myself. Right, online purchase will not work. The other poster said this is a single sku, I thought this was an instore price too.

I've been eyeing the bare tool version for a while. Does anyone know how much returning the 6ah pack would net as I have piles of batteries and really don't need more.
Post #134776766 added 02-06-2020 9:29 AM by rktdoc in Deal Talk
Lot of them actually are stolen. Read up about how many millions home depot lost to tool theft last year. Scary to think

No, the deal at CPO is the same but with a better price. The base tool includes a 2.0 and 4.0ah battery with a free 6.0ah battery at checkout.

xc4 vs xc6 buddy. The $20 difference will be worth it for most people. For diy work I recommend ppl get the base tool and the xc 2 battery and charger. Enough power and battery life. These things...

Yep, and only 3 left when I just looked. Great price if you want all the batts, or want to flip the 6. If you plan on getting into the M12 line and want to look at the fuel hackzall (don't get the...

Some of that is on HD corporate for not expanding their loss prevention (I think at one point they actually cut positions) until it finally hit their bottom line enough for them (AKA for their stock...
