If you want to organize a bunch of small cables (USB, charging, aux, etc) you should collect toilet paper rolls and stand them up in a shoe box. Not completely related but this works very well.

I have 10 of these I use to store screws, hardware, etc. I like them, but my only complain is that washers tend to creep under the partitions over time and go into other compartments. Not a huge deal...
