I got rid of the sim when I got the 3a XL a few months back from BB. My old sim didn't fully activate, so I took it to a corporate VZW store and got a new sim for free.

Can you have them not put the SIM card in the phone and then cancel service within 3 days to get a full refund, including the activation fee? I did that with Verizon and the Moto G7 last fall.

VRZN MB PHN 2 was the discount applied to get the 50$ off! Yes they started a new monthly contract. I might try to port in to a prepaid plan, but I don’t mind sticking with Verizon.
