I've had bad luck with Amazon batteries. I have a battery powered door lock and the batteries consistently last about half as long. Maybe due to the temperature, maybe the chemistry can't handle...

Oh God, please no. For door lock applications please don't use lithium batteries. They are super great for lasting a long time, but they don't taper off gently. Won't even get the low voltage...

You might try lithium batteries. They're more expensive but better in the cold or changing temps. Lots of people use them in trail cams and such. Might work for your needs. They usually last a ton...

I would spend the same amount on the ac delco aa. They last longer and hold up well in test done between the two.
