Nope 0÷ mush, very firm with a shallow press for it to register. You may have gotten a bad one, or maybe something came loose during shipment. I'd undo the cover and have a peek or get a replacement.

FYI I blew up the HS110 version of this using my harbor freight dust collector. It's now non-responsive. Probably works for lower amperage units.
