This Tamron lens doesn't require a dock to update. Rokinon requires a dock( lens station) to update their lenses for Sony E mount.

Pretty sure it's the latest version (3), that firmware came out in January of 2019. I mean yeah it's acceptable for half the price of the g-master, but I was just saying you won't hit as often :)
