This is well made, convenient and durable if needing one in backyard. Pretty heavy to haul around for camping etc. 65 is about right price I'd say. Used to be on clearance at < 29 a while ago.

The grates get hot enough to blast off any seasoning so it's almost pointless to try. Oil them after they are hot every time it's fired up. If left outside the whole thing will rust but it doesn't...

This grill is amazing. I use hardwood lump charcoal and you can’t beat the flavor of grilled vegetables and steak. When I want a good steak, this grill comes out.

Looks like Lodge has updated to a new model with cast iron handles. This model only has the wire handle. For that reason plus the price history some of you have mentioned, I am out.

I wouldn't think so... unless I am very wrong about how this is used, the cauldron part just holds charcoal, so only the grate needs seasoning, and that's not too intimidating.
