How do you recharge the battery on this? it is easy to swap out batteries with my Ring 2, but I believe with this one you have to take off the entire doorbell each time to get to the battery on...

Yes it can be stolen in about 20-30 seconds. I don’t think the thief can access your data stored on the homebase, if that’s what you are asking. It can be reused.
