No but you technically could roll around while seated upon it. They don't lock when you're sitting down. It's really quite a hazard.

Brakes on all rollator walkers are notoriously bad, do not use as a wheelchair and push against something sturdy before sitting! (I'm a physical therapist, deal with this every day)

Physical therapist here, this is actually spot on average! The 4-wheeled walkers even from Medicare all around 17-20 lbs! The normal 2-wheeled walkers are 8 lbs!
