I've been using Tidal for years and it's honestly the best streaming service. It has the best sound quality. People are so cheap these days and aren't used to high quality. Go for the deal.

Yes you can cancel immediately, but if you do the family plan you can not add new members or make any changes once you cancel. So make sure you have all of your Sub accounts setup prior to cancelling.
