Do yourself a favor and get a 3ton jack, or at least look up how much your car weighs. It's probably more than 1.5 tons without all the crap you keep inside.

You're at most lifting 1/2 a car with a jack. Even with that conservative estimate, a 1.5 ton jack can safely work on a 6000lb car, which is more than what a new Ford F150 weighs for reference.
