Sure you can, the LG is under 3k for that size, but especially with Vizio and others having OLED models this year this tv is clearly overpriced for the size, even on "sale".

I'd buy warranty for any high end TV. I had my X900E replaced twice and had to fight Sony over giving me refurbs until they finally agreed to give me a new X900F

I'd argue quality is better with Sony. I've had a lot of problems with LG and boards blowing out. Never had an issue with Sony.
