The developer added a summary of CS1 in 2, so there's probably a summary for both in 3. Think of the Arkham Batman games, it's kinda like that. You can get away with jumping straight to Knight.

Trials in the Sky took time to grow on me. When it did I was treated to endearing characters, lovely art and music. I really wish Cold Steel had a more similar visual style.

Yup. Antiquated engine won't benefit from 4K. It's like emulating a PS2 game at higher resolutions.
