Even though this might not be the best deal ever, I don't believe you can find a 1440 144Hz @ $200. For me unless you play competitive or you live from gaming (streamer) or have other reasons to take...

If you're not able to run at least a 1440p high refresh rate monitor, than you aren't good enough to join the PC Master Race! In all seriousness though, I realize that everyone is going to have...

He's right. Its not a deal breaker but you can defintely notice the difference between the two side by side. I've seen them run two of the same in Microcenter and you can tell the difference in...

Show me a "good" panel at $150 with 165hz+. 1440p is much harder to drive. My 9700k/16gb/1080 barely pushes 1440p/144hz. I agree that 1440p looks better but you're going to need a fair bit of power...

I want this but 1440p. But nobody posts this size in 1440p deals with high refresh rate 😩

Not sure why decently helpful posts are getting downvoted. Everybody has their opinion, but 1080p is fine on a 27" monitor. Sure higher resolutions can look better, but there are people who go for...

I'm not buying this monitor but people talking bout 1440p need to remember, driving 1440p takes more power. My system might be good enough to push 1080p to 165hz, but not good enough to get 1440p...

You are getting some stick around here, but I agree with your statement. If you want a 1080p on a 27 inch I wouldn't pay more than $150.

Everyone seems to say this but I have a 165Hz 27" 1080P monitor (MSI, not Gigabyte) and couldn't be happier with it.

In no small part this is dependent upon your viewing distance, which will of course greatly influence one's opinion of 1080p and appropriate screen size. For me, personally, 27" is the top end of...

Looks awful? Are you under the age of 20? Lol I grew up on CRT! But I agree. Go with 1440P but expect to pay more

Then one could argue this is an even worse deal because you could get a 27inch 1080P monitor for half this price as a second monitor.

I'd agree at a "normal" close viewing distance. But if you're used a 24"/1080p and your desk setup would work better with a bit more distance between you and your monitor it would make sense to go...

Pretty controversial comment it seems, I had a 27 inch 1080 though and I gotta agree, the pixel density crossed the threshold it seems. I ended up going with 25 inch 1080 in the end.

I've got a 1080p projector on a 120" screen, 10.5ft view distance. Works pretty good. It's like sitting a foot away from a 22" monitor.

LOL. It's just fine, especially if you disable cleartype which is BS anyway. Fine for Video and Gaming.

Not the guy you're responding to, and I am glad you're happy with your 27" /1080p - but it's really not ideal. Just this weekend I upgrades my main monitor from the Dell U2412m (24", 1920x1200, 60hz,...

I used a 46" 1080p tv as a monitor for gaming for years and loved it. Sure I could see the pixels but the immersion was amazing!
