I started by tapping with a hammer and that got old quick with poor results. The 1/4 sheet Makita's have done well.... once the pad goes bad, they don't bring much and seem to last forever. And there...

The concrete forms shaker is a good idea!

Ever try and get into a corner with a round sander? Very good deal but i do agree it would be a home run with an orbital sander.

As a matter of policy, no, you can no longer use competitor coupons at Home Depot. However, some people at some locations can get the clerks/managers to take them, so success is highly ymmv.

Can you use Target coupons at Walmart?

Thats a big ymmv. Lowe's stopped that gravy train a while ago, so you would need a HD manager dumb enough to not know they are getting scammed.

There are a lot more options for sheet sandpaper than PSA or H&L too, not that most people will ever use them but being able to use any grit paper is nice when you need it.

I know the answer to the question. Good day.

Agree on using belt sander paper for a sheet sander. The sander's foam backing lasts much longer. With the Ridgid sander, there's a plastic spring holding down the paper. (Horrible design that...

1/4 Sheets come out cheaper than orbital sheets without a sale. They have have their uses. But i agree orbital for general sanding i find better.

Some compacts (Dewalt, Makita I think) have a plunge base available; this does not. But needing a plunge base on a compact is a rare use case.

Router as a Woodworker.. I'll be eaten alive for this one for sure but the absolute go-to's are Makita and DeWalt and have been at least for DeWalt since 2004 so nearly 2 solid decades. I went...

100% agreed. Don't understand why they still even make the 1/4 sheet style.

I have both and find uses for both. If you have any old sander belts that de-laminated where they are joined, I cut those up for the 1/4 sheet sander that works in rough sanding corners. And...

For trim routers, go cordless for easy maneuvering. For router table obviously corded. Corded trim is not ideal. Pay extra for the cordless. Worth it.

I have this set. It works but I don’t recommend it. The bits in the router slip easily and it’s hard time o tighten it. The sanding sheets also slip off constantly. I would get something different if...

I bought this kit when it was on sale for $99 a little over a year ago. I agree with you in that the sander design is flawed with regards to how it holds the sand paper. However, I've had great...

Maybe if you are a bull in a china shop... You asked why they exist, i tell you then you come back with some silly response. Dont ask questions you don't want the answer to.

combo = they are getting rid of overstock. This price has been like this for a while, but is really good, considering the price of the router by itself

Actually yes, you can use Lowe’s Movers Coupons at HD but brick and mortar, not online. You can buy 20 on eBay “Lowe’s Movers Coupons”, for $10. You can use the coupon for 10% off your purchase...
