this hurts a bit... i purchased the 2018 PQ65 at $1500 from sam's club. well times change... now if the 75 inch would drop below $1100 i may get that and put the 65 in the bedroom or bathroom :)

I think it has to do with more with serial numbers than the box. The serial number indicated manufactures date.If you look at the serial number it will have the letter V after mayo or yayo or another...

All aforementioned models supposedly have 120hz "panels". The PX65-G1 has HDMI 2.0 and only supports 60hz _input_. I also mentioned the backlight frequency, which is known to cause problems...

Those tvs don't compare. They are entry level models. Any search through slickdeals should have shown you that. This TV compares to a Q80. Little less than Q80, little better than a Q70.

I had a friend with a PQ65, and their Verizon Fios cable box caused problems with it turning on and off. Turned off a few settings related to HDMI-CEC on the cable box and it fixed the problem.
