I live in northern Chicago suburbs and it shows limited stock in a Walmart near me. I went there and they told me that they do not have any unlocked phone in stock expect one which was not this phone.

Moto has fantastic warranty service so go ahead and send it in. They'll send you a refurbished unit that seems to be brand spankin new. I've used Moto's warranty service 3 times with great results.
