Easy fix. Just adjust pressure regulator on compressor. Different woods need adjustment anyway.

To me...not really. You can adjust the depth of your nail driving by adjusting your air pressure. You should always test nail a piece of sample material anyway to get an idea how far it is driving...

No, it works great for trim. The only thing is these 2 in 1 guns leave a larger hole to fill due to wider striker blade for the staple option. I found you can shoot at an angle to reduce this

The third picture shows a depth adjustment. Run a couple brads through a sample piece until you get the depth right. You shouldn't have this problem again.
