I thought about that too but I use the ones my dentist gives me. Ounce-wise, it's pretty expensive. You can usually get 4 pack at Costco or Sam's for around $24 when it's not on sale. That works out...

Sensodyne works for me. Perhaps it's just what works for others might not work for everyone. I don't think "that actually works" is fair as this may work for a lot of people.

Don’t rinse the fluoride off of your teeth. Swish it around for 30 seconds after brushing, then spit. Don’t follow with mouthwash, nor eat/drink immediately afterwards.
