I bought these last week new from Amazon for $219. Updated the firmware and it did not kill the ANC. My set was manufactured June 2019 - maybe it’s on old model issue?

Just FYI, firmware update will brick the headphone’s NC capabilities for some, and Bose will not respond regarding this issue. Look online for updating Bose qc35ii’s.
