Build quality plus being able to upgrade ram/ssd is excellent. I only wish they would ditch the two touchpad button and have a larger touchpad instead.

The 7389 is a dual core, 2-in-1, so not really that comparable. Additionally, I have had no issues with the cooling on my 7390, nor have I heard that it's a common problem.

Look on ebay for last years model 7389 instead... much cheaper and the CPU throttles less. The cooling setup in this is not adequate for the quad core 8-series. Same exact specs except for the CPU

I bought a 7390 2in1 from a reseller locally, and I was able to transfer the warranty to my name. And the reseller was not an Dell approved one I'm sure. I don't know if that's always the case but...
