Definitely consider paying 5 bucks more for the Brother P-touch PTD210. I think it is well worth it. The nicer model got sales at 10 bucks several times last year.

It wastes a lot of tape on the front and back end of each label. I try to make several labels at one time (therefore limited the wasted tape) and cut them apart with scissors.

Personally, I love label makers, but I go with a larger tape (24mm) to help label totes/etc in the garage. This label maker has limitations (12mm), great for kitchen, files, etc though.
