I’ve given it a week. It’s convenient but it’s think I’m cleaning it and sending it back. I know they say super autos will never beat the shots from a semi auto. But i think even my lousy shots...

It looks like the extraction times are very short with this machine. I have a Gaggia Brera with the same issue. It makes milk drinks and Americanos pretty nicely, but shots are not that great. I...

Press and hold the Espresso (or Lungo) button until the screen says MEMO. It will then start a shot. When it reaches the volume you want, you hit the Aroma button and it saves the volume.

The milk system, for one. I think this one is a cappuccinatore siphon-type system, whereas the Anima Prestige has a milk pitcher (which I own and prefer.)

Yes, RO should be fine as well. I live in New Jersey, where's there's hard water. They do provide a filter, that's supposed to help but I figure I would help the filter by using Costco water.

Yeah, never use oily beans. Oily beans are either overroasted or old stale beans. When buying coffee beans, look for roast date that within couple weeks.
