I've watched some on YouTube - if you watch a few you get the gist that they have addressed many of the shortcomings of the first gen bags. That said, it's evolutionary not a wholesale redesign.

I think this is still too big. I don't think a sling should be more than 2L. IMO, anything bigger should just be a messenger bag. Peak Design does put a lot of thought into their gear design...
