Wait why cant we get a mknitor that runs 60hz at 4k and when we use 1080p resolution it can fo 144hz?
In the old days of crt monitors i can push higher refresh at lower resolution.

Most users can't sit at a desk and work with a 50" tv screen inches away from their face. Granted it may look cool while gaming. But I think tv screens are not the best choice for a serious level...

I'm sure someone answered you by now, I have it and I love it. Just remember you'll need something for sound (if you're not currently using a monitor) this monitor doesn't have speakers.
