This is perfect if you want to camp with a CPAP machine or as a back-up if the power goes out - 6 hours of sleep is better than none at all.

My UPS is a cyberpower 1500PFCLCD If you try to feed it power from a non-inverter generator it will pass through the power and not charge the UPS. With the sine wave generator it works as expected.

I highly doubt he needs the 4kW gen either, that's just what he uses. Then again, we don't know how big a snow cone machine we're talking about here. But any inductive motor is going to put...

Definitely not both at once, no question. I'd highly doubt it would run either by themselves, the AC maybe depending on its draw, but the startup of anything with a compressor (which is both of...

You probably want a ~4000W generator for that

Sorry, most of the terminology used here is going way over my head. Will this be good for running a TV at a tailgate?

I believe the person is referring to the fact that generators have a history of not producing pure sine wave electricity However this is an inverter based generator so it should be fine for PC's...

Inductive motors would probably need more than the max that you'll get out of this, unless they're really small. I'd guess it won't work for you.

you need to look at what everything you will plug into it will draw in wattage. Look for the electrical stickers that state wattage or amps or voltage. Add them all up and get one size larger.

Unfortunately, both things he listed have motors. Most times you can find a listing for LRA or locked rotor amperage. This is an approximation of how many amps are needed to start the motor. It is...

I have one of these. It runs great. Had to adjust the low speed idle screw but other than that it's a great machine. Love it and it's cheap

It smokes like crazy if you overfill the oil. Oil expands, people generally over fill and then it pushes past into the Piston and rings. I did that myself.

Who would have ever guessed a $1k Honda EU2200i would outperform a $150 Sportsman generator.

I actually compared it against the Honda EU1000i, not the EU2200i. I would not recommend buying the Honda EU1000i though, as the EU2200i offers a lot more capability for just a little more $....

Ok Boomer, has to be pure sine for the ups. Also, the EV chargers require that you tie the ground and negative pin together to function. If Outbreak goes viral and power plants shut down, got to...

Most any small engine is going to have trouble with ethanol eating up the carb./fuel lines/et cetera. This is a really good deal, but I like to use propane or natural gas for that reason. If you...

I'd argue clean electricity since it's an inverter generator, so it's UPS and sensitive electronic friendly. Yes it uses gas but it's mainly for emergencies.

Sound level? How many Decibles is it rated at? A decent unit would be below 65dB. Ideally less than 60dB

Lots of reports of these smoking like chimneys. I’d like to get something like this and the price seems right, but some of the reviews are concerning.

As soon as you get yours, run it for a few hrs. I purchased 2 and both leaked. Could just be bad luck but 2/2 is concerning.
