I use these for drying my car and have never scratched my paint. Of course, lubrication and a clean surface is important when using these on car paint.

It’s recommended you wash these prior to using them. No fabric softener or bleach. They make detergent specifically for microfiber towels that works great. Wash in cold water and low heat when drying.

Microfiber will absorb very well if it is damp. It will not if it is dry. You can also mess them up by using fabric softener or drying them with high heat, which will make them not absorbent even...

These are garbage. They absorb water at the same rate as plastic. They leave lint everywhere. And after a few washes... forget it. But hey, They're cheap! kappa.
