Yes, you can stream Photos to this box. However, I could not get the photos from my library to show in Daydream (screensaver) setting of Android. Chromecast has this ability.

I bought at this price around BF but returned, buffering issues and crashes. I have been using Roku Premier at the same spot for more than a year and never had buffering.

There is a ported app I use and it works perfect. But the fact I had to go through that hoop is annoying. I have a 3rd gen and it works fine, not amazing.

That's true, yesterday I had the Xiaomi Mi Smart Desk Lamp in my cart with the Xiaomi Mi Box S but when I started to checkout the price of the lamp was $40 up from $20 but today it's back down to $20.
