TBH with "new" movies I only look at the ones I'm interested in watching and usually just rent/borrow them. Almost all do not include object based soundtracks, I would say in the last 10 maybe 1...

You can get dual 8" reference premiere floorstandings for 340 a pop with a coupon code. Just do a search for RP-280F on slick deals. Way better deal imo if you dont care about atmos.

i had these for over a month. they are my mains as my setup now is 5.1.2 and rocking them with Dayton Sub-1500. i had to bump the atmos to +3.5db on both to hear the effects coming from the ceiling....
