Schlage makes the best traditional locks imo. Great quality. Probably installed 20 or so over the years and never had a problem.

i believe you can program between a 4 digit and a 7 digit code. You can program multiple codes but they have to all be of the same length code you select, 4,5,6,7 in length.

The 9 volt battery lasts about a year and half. My suggestion is don't use cheap batteries. Stick to fresh Duracell or Energizer batteries.

The 2 prongs on the bottom is used when battery is dead. It warns u when battery is dieing so if you ignore it you can just use a 9v and jump it and itll work.
