It does but it is quite terrible and snaps off quite a bit. This does a great job keeping a switch lite up as well if you want to play with a separate controller (SN30 Pro) like I do. It also works...

Like someone else said, you can be plugged in with this one. Also, the built in stand seems flimsy. I'm super paranoid my kids are going to break it. I'd rather they use this.

I can confirm this is just a shelf, so as long as your phone + case is not wider than the Switch it should work for both. I use this little thing all the time.
