Because when you touch the screen on the motile, nothing happens. Also, 2.5 vs 2.1 is not the same weight. I followed the motile thread quite a bit. First impressions were pretty good but as...

Why is this $400 better than Walmart’s Motile? It’s got a smaller screen, no m.2, and worse integrated graphics than the Ryzen 5. About the same weight.

Are you sure 13-incher has two m.2 slots? I thought only 17" has it. Also, could't SATA SSD be replaced with NVMe or they chose to put an older interface inthere?
Post #135401876 added 03-07-2020 2:31 PM by superslickz in Deal Talk
Does the 17" have touchscreen. Will it fit in all hotel safes?

Does replacing the RAM and storage void the warranty? Just noticed in the description on Costco's page that the SSD is SATA not NVMe.

Same here. I pulled the trigger. This is a great laptop IF you are in the market for a very lightweight laptop at 2.1 lbs. If you are not, then there are much better values out there. But this is...

That's exactly my point to the person who said if you go gram, "you have to go 17 inch"; no touchscreen and too big of footprint to travel with means it is definitely not for many people. What's...

Costco decided to cannibalize its own sales. Get an i7 for the same price. Actually, it may end up being cheaper (because you won't be paying the extra sales tax on the $300 instant rebate). LG...

As it has been stated in the i7 thread, the i7 from previous gen is actually a little slower or about the same as the i5 and i believe the i5 uses less energy so slightly better battery life.
