these are great, i use them with my cheap pos chinese track saws. Right , won't work in an mft. But for tracks they're convenient.

I paid 33$ in November, so decent discount if you are in the market. If you've never used a track saw, I recommend not or else you'll buy your own the same day.

If you try these clamps on anything but a track saw, they will instantly disintegrate and be rendered useless.

At least they are cheap. I have the Festool version and hate them. The Dewalt are much better (though the Festool will fit the MFT...)

Can these type of clamps be used like any other clamps, like glue-ups for woodworking? The only difference I see is that some padding will need to be added to the metal end rail.
