I believe any time you plug a drive into a Roamio, it will format it as a new drive. So you can't clone it in the sense of cloning all shows on a new drive and install that cloned drive later and...

Sort of. OTA has more local channels than YTTV, and a better picture for sure. And YTTV is missing ABC in my location. Now, Philo and Tivo OTA would be pretty much a perfect match.

Typo on my part, was looking for the 3TB but only found 2TB. You will need a Torx T8 and T10 to open up the Tivo and swap out the hard drive.

You can easily swap a hard drive in it if it fails. Put a big ssd drive in there and you’re good. You thought you have to throw away the whole box if the storage drive dies?
