Wow $17 for a 2 pack of filters, so roughly $96 a year to maintain and it's not even HEPA. Costs more than the two high end HEPA filters I have to replace yearly.

The filter is a fabric cinch, mine have no validation chips. I’ve washed and reused them in woolite several times before replacing them. Edit: I see there is a gen 2, maybe those have chips?

I bought this from Woot a year ago... don't waste your money. The filters are proprietary, they have memory chips to "date" how old the filter is and it will only run if you have the filter chip...
