Is this a legit company? I placed an order for this and 2 other Dewalt tools last week. Since then I can't even find the order status online under my account, and the rep told me "this order is still...

100% legit. They have physical stores all over the mountain west. Also, they are an authorized DeWalt dealer. My stuff is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow via UPS. They’re just a small outfit so...

Anyone get an open box tool? All the Dewalt tools I ordered from Murdoch's were opened and retaped. Just curious if that was the case for anyone else.

Does HD or Lowe’s price match this? Loving my m18, but wouldn’t mind this DeWalt.

Is this suitable for baseboards? This specific brad nailer.

All of these sales just flipped over to in-store only...

Same for me. No sign of it on the Murdoch’s site and there is still a hold on my credit card. Not super concerned either way, just wish they would send cancellation notices if that’s the case.

What is the difference between nailers? Is there one more multipurpose than others? Thx
Post #135505364 added 03-13-2020 6:05 AM by jswanstr in Deal Talk
Another key difference to note is the angle of the nailer. You don't want to put the wrong nails into a nailer and this one is easy because there is no angle. On the down side it does make it harder...

They don't ship to Alaska, California, and Hawaii... They haven't implemented the change outlined in Prop 65.

$197.99 for the 15 gauge is a much better deal. I love mine and prefer the 15 gauge for a bit more holding force.

Brads are most often used in the construction of projects - bookcases, cabinets, etc. Finish nails are most often used for installing items to the wall. Hope that helps ya..

Yes, you can also add some powergrab or similar glue if they're larger than 4" in height to increase the hold.

Different nail thickness and sizes mainly for different uses (for example you wouldn’t want using framing nailer for your trim and vise versa).

Hey man, gotta make sure those crowns stay up. But on a serious note, I have this gun. Out of ~100 nails it’ll mangle 3-4 and won’t fully drive in another 5 unless you’re dead straight. But I’m...

I still use ridgid air one but don't remember nail problems unless shooting very hard wood or something similar (knots, laminated surfaces). Try different nail manufacturer, maybe that will help.
