This is incorrect. In fact, Dell makes a 130w USB-C charger. With higher spec Dell laptops, like a Precision 15 (probably xps 15 as well but I can't confirm that), it won't accept anything under 60w.

75w is maximum for air travel, so this always has a place. Perhaps that's also why Dell only charges at 65w using USB-C and Lenovo has a special air plane charge mode.
