Many of the hotspots are their customers xfi modems that broadcast the Xfinity network signal. Really not much for them to do. They claim their Xfinity open network doesn't affect your bandwidth......

When I logged in last night, I saw my account having 200,000 gb cap, but it's now reverted back to 1024 gb. It still showed my usage, but the cap was increased to 200,000 gb

For me, lowering the MTU allows OpenVPN to work over UDP over xfinitywifi.

I think most sonic.net plans are now faster than that. Kind of surprised they aren't available in downtown Santa Rosa since Santa Rosa is where the company is based.

Not deploying anymore because it's goddamn expensive. If you want Fiber best bet is to move into a community with a HOA that bundles with a local Fiber provider for a buildout.
